Fruit Are bluish purple, succulent, and 0.8cm across.

Propagation Is by seed or by cutting.

Aboriginal uses: the fruit can be eaten but has a bitter and salty taste. The leaves were heated and used as a fomentation (hot lotion) for diarrhoea.
